Paisley police incident Shuttle Street: Investigation launched after man found seriously injured

Police have launched an investigation after a man was found seriously injured in a street in Paisley.

Emergency services were called to Shuttle Street shortly before midnight on Friday night after the 37-year-old was discovered with injuries. He was rushed to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Police say they are working to establish the full circumstances behind the incident as officers appeal for anyone with information to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a 37-year-old man found seriously injured in Shuttle Street, Paisley, around 11.50pm on Friday, 30 July.

"Officers attended and he was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

"Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 4331 of 30 July."
