Police probe after blood-soaked man turns up at Royal Alexandra Hospital covered in stab wounds

Murder bid cops are hunting a blade thug after a blood soaked man showed up at Paisley's A&E covered in stab wounds.

The seriously injured 39-year-old victim appeared at the Royal Alexandra Hospital at around 9am yesterday. Cops believe he was attacked in the west end of Paisley. It’s understood the he suffered a punctured lung during the stabbing.

He remains in a stable condition in hospital this morning. Police, who are treating the attack as attempted murder, are carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV from the area to identify any suspects.
