A Paisley dog owner is pleading for help to find her missing pet after he disappeared during a hill walk last week.
Natalie Crawford was walking near Loch Lomond with three-year-old Gizmo and had nearly reached the summit of Beinn Ime when thick fog came down.
She lost sight of the Staffordshire bull terrier cross and hasn’t seen him since.
Natalie, who works for the Scottish Ambulance Service, has been desperately searching the area, helped by family and friends, and even camped out at the hill for the three nights after Gizmo ran off.
She said: “We’ve had no sightings of him since he went missing. I’ve been in touch with the mountain rescue team but they can only help in their spare time.
“I’ve left out clothes with my scent on them but I need help from someone with experience to check crevices and caves around there.”
Natalie got Gizmo three years ago as a foster dog after her previous dog died. She formally adopted him two months after she started fostering him.
Gizmo, described as a white and red adult male, went missing at around 10am on Thursday, June 17.
Anyone with any information or who thinks they could help can call Natalie on 07903 484 385.
