Paisley Centre roof collapses as emergency services rush to scene

Emergency services have raced to a shopping centre in Paisley after its roof caved in.

Scottish Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of the collapse just after 3pm on Monday November 4.

Images shared on social media show the ground of the Renfrewshire shopping centre, at its High Street entrance, completely covered in large pieces of debris.

The fire service confirmed eight appliances are currently in attendance, with police helping to close the centre.

Reports online say there are no injuries, however this is yet to be confirmed.
