Investigations are continuing at the Paisley Centre into the cause of the roof collapse yesterday.
A section of roof above the High Street entrance collapsed at around 3pm on Monday afternoon. The centre was immediately evacuated and emergency services were called.
No-one was injured.
The Paisley Centre remains closed today as fire control continue to investigate the cause of the collapse.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We attended at the Paisley Centre following reports of a collapsed structure.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene, after the alarm was raised at 3.09pm.
“There are no reported casualties.”
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed officers were on site and offering support to fire crews.
It’s understood a centre worker spotted a section of the ceiling sagging just before it fell in.
He then alerted the fire service to the incident.
A spokesperson for the centre said: “Our main priority is the safety of our customers.
“The centre remains closed today.
“We will keep our customers updated on when the centre will reopen via socialmedia.”
