Two men who filmed themselves inhaling laughing gas while reaching speeds of up to 139mph before a deadly high-speed crash have been jailed.
Manchester Crown Court heard Uways Hussain took video of himself and his passenger, Usmon Mahmood, inhaling nitrous oxide from balloons while racing past traffic in a 30mph zone at nearly five times the speed limit.
Dashcam and CCTV footage shows the pair running a red light before crashing into a car, killing Sylvester Abayomi, 50, who was travelling to work. Abayomi suffered serious injuries and died shortly after the collision.
Hussain, 20, of Burnage, Manchester and Mahmood, 23, of Levenshulme, Manchester were jailed for 11 years and eight months and 12 years and nine months respectively.
