Pair of iguanas hold up traffic as they duel in Florida Starbucks car park

A pair of iguanas have been filmed fighting in a Starbucks car park in Florida.

The unusual video clip, which was shared on Facebook, shows the two reptiles grappling and attempting to bite one another.

The battle was caught on camera by shocked onlooker Shannon Moskoff.

“We saw what looked like tree branch that may have fell” Shannon told The Independent.

“Iguanas are quite common to see around Florida, just kind of sunbathing and chilling out.”

The combat took place in the car park of a Starbucks in Boca Raton, and the longer it went on the more disruption it caused, holding up thirsty customers.

“We could not believe what we were watching, as you can see here in the video”.

Behaviour of this type is not rare, according to the Green Iguana Society. “Male iguanas often duel and “will fight to the death if allowed access to each other”.
