Pair of former Chargers kickers to work out for Bears

Former Chargers kickers Nick Rose and Younghoe Koo could be finding themselves back in the NFL. Koo and Rose will workout for the Bears next Wednesday, according to Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs.

Koo and Rose are available to be signed after the American of Alliance Football came to an end. Both Koo and Rose had great success, converting all 14 of their field goal attempts in the six games of action.

Koo was a member of the Atlanta Legends and Rose was with the San Antonio Commanders. Rose’s conversions included two of at least 50 yards.

Koo’s tenure with Los Angeles in 2017 was short-lived after beating Josh Lambo for the starting job. He made just three of his six attempts before he was let go after four games during the regular season.

Rose kicked for two games in the kicking carousel season, making just one of his three attempts before being released. He was brought back by the Bolts ahead of their playoff game this past postseason. He handled kickoff duties and backed up Michael Badgley.
