Police are warning Portage Park residents of two construction site robberies this month on the Northwest Side.
In each case, someone forced their way into the sites and took tools and materials, Chicago police said in an alert.
A robbery was reported about 12:05 a.m. June 23 in the 5600 block of West Newport Avenue, police said. Another took place between 7 p.m. and 5:50 a.m. June 25-26 in the 3600 block of North Central Avenue.
Police didn’t offer a description of any suspects.
