Pair escape injury on rural road as car flips near popular Outlander beauty spot

A car ended up on its roof following a crash near the popular Devil's Pulpit beauty spot, near Killearn, this afternoon.

Police were called to the A809, near to the bend at the road bridge at Finnich Glen at around 2.40pm on Monday.

Two people were in the grey Citroen C3 when it lost control and flipped.

The vehicle was blocking traffic in both directions and the route remains closed as officers await a recovery truck to remove the car.

Neither occupant was injured in the incident.
