Two people are set to appear in court following an armed robbery in Co Kildare.
The duo, aged in their 20s and 40s, entered a premises on Main Street in Castledermot on Saturday, January 15 shortly after 2 pm.
The men were armed with a handgun and hammer and went behind the till area and proceeded to empty a sum of cash into a bag.
They fled the scene in a car but were caught by gardai a short time later.
The men, one aged in his 40s and the other in his 20s, will appear before Naas District Court this morning, Monday, 17th January 2022.
