Two people have been arrested after a man showed up to a woman's Newcastle home with stomach stab wounds and later died.
Christopher Ward, 56, attended the woman's Broadmeadow home on the evening of March 7 with critical stab wounds to his stomach.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition and died two days later.
Police subsequently arrested a 46-year-old man and 47-year-old woman in Honeysuckle on Tuesday afternoon and took them to Newcastle Police Station.
They are yet to be charged.
