Paint thrown and window damaged after disturbance at Gosforth flats

An investigation has been launched after flats in Newcastle were damaged.

Police said a group of unknown offenders threw paint at a door and damaged a window at flats on Emblehope Drive in Gosforth.

Police are urging anyone with any information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Police received a report of criminal damage at an address on Emblehope Drive, Gosforth on Tuesday, November 9.

"At around 9.40pm officers attended the scene where paint was thrown at a door by a group of unknown offenders and caused damage to a window.

"Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident to contact the Tell Us Something pages on the Northumbria Police website or contact 101 quoting reference 125077Q/21."
