Paint it blue

Fancy (Sir) Jonathan Miller and Harold Pinter (CH) having anything to do with honours bestowed by an unelected head of state who heads an absurd ruling class which perpetuates huge disparities in wealth and opportunity (Birthday honours, June 15). I had credited these two people with more democratic and egalitarian instincts.
