Paige Thorne has admitted the reason why she entered the Love Island villa was to get revenge on her ex fiancé.
The 24-year-old Welsh paramedic sparked a romance with Jacques O'Neil while in the villa – but things weren't to last as they ended after he kissed Cheyanne Kerr while she was in Casa Amor.
Paige then fell for Adam Collard and the pair left the villa as a couple but it wasn't meant to be as the pair split weeks after leaving the ITVBe show, with Paige's Love Island pals Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Dami Hope slamming Adam following the drama.
And it seems this isn't the first time Paige's heart was broken as she has confessed she actually went on the show to get revenge on her ex-fiancé, who dumped her by text after 18 months together.
Paramedic Paige, who recently spilled on the ITV show's secrets, said her motivations for travelling to Majorca in a bid to find love were "petty" as she was quizzed on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To podcast.
She explained: "The real reason I went on Love Island is the pettiest reason you’ve ever heard Vicky, you’re going to cry."
Paige went on: "I was in an 18-month relationship with this guy, it was a Tinder date, and it ended up in an engagement..."
As Vicky gasped she joked: "I'm just not picking boys for myself again because I can't do it clearly!"
Paige then continued: "Anyway, he texted me one day like: 'I’m breaking up with you,' out of the blue and I was like, 'Ok, we’re meant to be getting married but whatever'.
"I was heartbroken and, when I say heartbroken, I went down to seven stone, I was depressed."
She then said: "He broke up with me and I was suffering the worst heartbreak known to man and then I found out he was on Tinder within a week.
"And I was like: 'You little s**t!' I was liked: 'Right, if you can do Tinder, well guess what, I can do Love Island then. So, f**k off'. And that’s what I went I done just to be a little b***h on his TV screen!"
Vicky praised Paige for the move as she said: "Serves him right! I bet he's screwing now babe, half the country fancies you!"
Since failing to find The One on Love Island, Paige has now decided to stay single after three failed romances in one year.
Elsewhere on the podcast, Paige told Vicky: "I have vowed now that I am going to be single for a very, very long time Vicky, very!
"It’s not for me anymore."
She added: "In one year, I’ve had three failed relationships and we’re only in October."
