Paesano install new bins to get people disposing of their pizza boxes properly

Paesano have installed their own bins in Glasgow in a bid to get people to dispose of their pizza boxes properly.

The restaurant have hired two commercial bins after customers left dozens of boxes piled up in Kelvingrove Park last weekend.

Paesano announced that it would be reopening its restaurants on Great Western Road and Miller Street for takeaway only last month.

Posting on social media, the company said: "The sun is out and we’re ready for another Paesano in the Park this weekend.

"It broke our hearts to see that pizza boxes were not being binned properly.

"We have hired 2 large commercial bins to help. One at the Gibson street entrance and the other one will be at the Kelvinway entrance.

"Please use these bins to discard your Paesano Pizza box.

"Keep Glasgow tidy."

The gesture seems to have gone down well with customers who praised the company for doing their bin to help curb littering in public parks.
