Paedophile childcare worker Bronte Ciracovitch pleads guilty to further abuse crimes

A former Adelaide childcare worker has pleaded guilty to more child abuse offences.

Bronte John Ciracovitch, 30, was working at a childcare centre in Adelaide's north when he was arrested last year and taken into custody.

He is facing a string of charges and has previously pleaded guilty to producing child exploitation material relating to a child who was in his care at the childcare centre.

Facing the District Court today, Ciracovitch pleaded guilty to three other charges — one of maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child, and two of possessing child exploitation material, one of which was an aggravated offence.

The ABC understands those offences, which were committed last year in Adelaide's northern suburbs, do not relate to Ciracovitch's work at the childcare centre.

The court heard the "unlawful sexual relationship" charge included multiple occasions of sexual acts with a child as well as taking photographs of the child engaging in "private acts".

Ciracovitch is due to enter pleas to other charges relating to the childcare centre next month in the Adelaide Magistrates Court, including another aggravated charge of producing child exploitation material.

The District Court heard Ciracovitch's sentencing hearings will likely be delayed until next year, with a psychological report to form part of the sentencing submissions.
