Paddy Power troll Celtic fans with zombie stunt as bookmaker riffs on Rangers jibe

Bookmaker Paddy Power has riffed on Celtic 's misery with a zombie stunt outside of Parkhead.

The pressure is on manager Neil Lennon after a disastrous Betfred Cup exit at the hands of Ross County, with fans protesting outside the stadium.

The bookie now has Rangers as 2/9 favourites to win the Premiership, and has priced up odds on Lennon's successor.

Gordon Strachan is the 6/4 favourite, and Paddy Power didn't miss the chance to have a cheeky dig at Celtic and their fans.

Hoops fans commonly refer to supporters of their city rivals as "zombies", and 28 days after a loss to Rangers the bookie sent two of the undead to Celtic Park with a 10 In A Row trophy.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “This apocalyptic scenario for Neil Lennon started with Celtic’s loss in the Old Firm Derby – and he might not still be manager 28 Days Later, if current results continue.

“Thursday felt like Night of The Living Dead, and for once Celtic fans weren’t bemoaning the zombies from across town – but the walking dead wearing the green and white hoops.”
