Paddy Power Millionaire Chase: Here's the horse that could win former Irish League winger £1m

Banbridge Town boss Stuart King is in the running to win a cool £1m this weekend - and now he knows the horse that will carry his hopes.

The former Irish League winger is entered into Paddy Power ’s Millionaire Chase on Saturday.

King has already won £10,000 in the promotion, but those thousands could turn into a cool million if his horse wins.

The race will be Saturday's Imperial Cup at Sandown, and King was drawn Highway One O Two for the Grade Three handicap hurdle.

The draw was made on Thursday evening.

The horse is currently around 10/1 fifth favourite for the race, giving King a fighting chance of landing the mammoth prize.

Speaking on this week's That's What I Call Football podcast, and before the draw was made, King said: "I'll be a bag of nerves on Saturday, but sure it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

"If Covid wasn't here I would probably watch it down at Banbridge Town social club, but I will now watch it in a wee bar I have out the back of the house."

Here's what Paddy Power had to say about Highway One O Two:

"Chris Gordon has kept Highway One O Two busy lately. He was no match for Soaring Glory in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury on his penultimate start. But his latest run at the weekend, also at Newbury, was much better and he has now slipped down the weights, close to his last winning mark."

Good luck, Stuart!
