Paddy Pimblett tells Dana White to bring UFC back to England after debut victory

Paddy Pimblett has urged Dana White to let him fight in a UFC event in the UK after a stunning debut win in Las Vegas.

'Paddy the Baddy' was triumphant in his bout with Luigi Vendramini at Fight Night 191, on an evening where Liverpool was a star attraction.

Pimblett secured a victory in his bout, with Molly McCann doing the same in her last fight on her current four-fight deal, while Darren Till lost in the main event.

Also on the night, Manchester's Tom Aspinall was victorious against Sergey Spivak - showing that British fighters are the cream of the crop.

Pimblett has now called upon UFC to take advantage of the situation, as he's desperate to have the opportunity to fight in his homeland.

"I'm here to take over lad. I'm the new cash cow. I'm the new main man on the UFC roster," he said after the fight.

"I best be in the game next week lad. That simple - I want to be in. I'm the new man, lad. People are going to be calling me out now. You know who the boy is.

"Dana, Shelby, let's get England back on lad. Let's back to the UK. Get your boy in the main event or the co-main and I'll blow the roof off the gaff."

While Pimblett took hits in the opening round and had to battle his way into control, he stated in the post-fight press conference that he was always confident.

"It was never gonna go wrong. This is my destiny. I'm here and I'm the new kid on the block lad. I told you the other day, 'I'm gonna get a first-round finish'.

"People think I'm a grappler and I've just shut everyone up. I can strike, I can grapple, I can wrestle. I've got the personality, I've got the look. The new king's here lad."
