Paddy Pimblett reveals when he'll fight next after Molly McCann UFC bout confirmed

Paddy Pimblett has stated that he has no intention of fighting in New York and has rejected Dana White's offer to have his next fight at UFC 281 alongside Molly McCann on a main event card - revealing why he's looking to fight elsewhere.

Last month, Pimblett defended his UFC unbeaten streak when he fought in London, defeating Jordan Leavitt at the O2 Arena, his toughest opponent to date, after locking in a rear-naked choke in the second round. It was a statement win for Pimblett, who many continue to raise doubts due to the level of his opponents so far, but Leavitt is seen as an up-and-coming fighter in the division with a strong record.

After having his last two fights in London, Pimblett is now looking to return to the United States for his future fights - and has admitted that he's looking forward to being stateside.

However, Pimblett is eyeing his return to the UFC in December, fighting in Las Vegas, due to the state income tax being considerably lower compared to New York.

Speaking prior to this weekend's card in San Diego, Pimblett said: "I think I’m going to fight in Vegas. That’s what I’m hoping. I’ve seen the card get slated for December 10.”

McCann, meanwhile, has had her fight confirmed for the New York card, fighting on the same night as Israel Adesanya.

McCann will come up against her toughest opponent to date, fighting #13 ranked Erin Blanchfield, with Molly now ranked #15.

McCann herself has now moved into the women's flyweight rankings after extending her winning streak to three against Hannah Goldy at the O2 Arena last month. She produced another stunning display and landed another KO with a spinning back elbow to elevate herself once again.
