Paddy Pimblett makes Liverpool promise to fans after UFC London fight confirmed

Paddy Pimblett's fight against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London has recently been confirmed, with the lightweight star to be on the card on July 23rd. Leavitt has a record of 10-1 and will be a step-up in comparison to the challenges that the 27-year-old has faced so far in his career.

Leavitt, who will turn 27 three weeks before their June fight has fought four times in the UFC, in comparison to Pimblett's two fights so far. However, as one of the rising stars of the roster, fans will be excited to see what kind of preparations 'The Baddy' goes through, after he has gained over 40lbs since his last bout against Rodrigo Vargas in March.

Pimblett has vowed to bring fans behind the scenes as he attempts to cut that weight gain in preparation for what will be a thrilling contest on the world stage at the O2 Arena in just less than two months' time. In a video recently uploaded to his YouTube channel he said that he would continue to bring fans behind the scenes in his preparations.

In a recent video, he confirmed that he would be continuing his extensive social media presence, which has become a big factor in making him one of the biggest stars of the sport. He said: "Get following on all social media me and the 'Meatball' [Molly McCann]. We'll see you back in Liverpool real soon, starting camp. I have fights coming up, so the vlogs will be active once again."

Leavitt, known as the 'Monkey King' has never been stopped in his career and the duo will be joined on the card by McCann, Scotland's Paul Craig, Muhammad Mokaev, Marc Diakiese and veteran Alexander Gustafsson, with the main event seeing Britain's Tom Aspinall taking on Curtis Blaydes.
