Paddy Pimblett has raised his stature exponentially tonight with a statement victory over Kazula Vargas.
It was the second time that Pimblett has fought in the UFC after his debut win over Luigi Vendramini in September, and he secured another first-round win.
Like the first fight, Pimblett took a big shot to the face, with Vargas going for the take down and looking for the ground and pound.
But Pimblett used his excellence in Judo and BJJ to take Vargas down with a hip toss and locking in a rear naked choke, locking it in tight giving Vargas no choice but to tap.

It was another incredible victory for Pimblett, who had the fans at the O2 arena going wild with his entrance.
