Paddy McGuinness speechless after spotting cat in his Tesco shopping bag

Paddy McGuinness has shared a surprising discovery he made at the bottom of a Tesco shopping bag - a cat!

The I Can See Your Voice presenter, 48, adopted stray cat Millie with wife Christine, 33, after it made itself home in their house.

After checking that the cat didn't belong to anyone, they decided to keep her and their children - eight-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and five-year-old Felicity - named them Millie.

They later discovered that the cat was actually male, but they decided to keep the name and Paddy frequently updates his 1.9million followers on his antics.

From sleeping on furniture instead of his bed to lazing around the sink, Paddy enjoys sharing pictures of Millie, hashtagging them with 'Milliewithawilly'.

Most recently, Paddy shared that his cat has free rein of the house, so is used to seeing him in odd situations.

However, he ended up hearing a peculiar rustling sound...

He wrote: "My Cat Millie has got a perfectly good bed and pretty much free reign of the house. I heard a rustling last night, popped my head over the banister and discovered this. Zoom in. My Cat is jokes. #wednesday #catsofinstagram #milliewithawilly."

Paddy attached a photo of a Tesco bag, with a cheeky cat peeking its head out.

His followers were in hysterics and took to the comments section, with one writing: "It’s a cat thing. Boxes/bags - straight in. Beds you buy them - nah, they prefer your bed, the sofa, or any chair you want to sit on!"

While another commented: "Found my cat in a similar situation only he had got his head through the handle and then turned his body in panic. Lucky i found him when I did."

A third joked: "Mines been living in a parcel box from boots for 3 months and I’ve got beds all over the house."
