Paddy McGuinness slams stranger who said his kids 'don't look disabled' in parking row

Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness, 46, has spoken out following an incident during an outing with his children over the weekend.

The Top Gear star has slammed a stranger after he was questioned over parking in a disabled space at a children's play centre.

Paddy and his model wife Christine Martin share twins Leo and Penelope, who have autism, as well as younger daughter Felicity, four.

The comedian posted a lengthy rant to Twitter following his conversation with a stranger and branded them as an 'ignorant tool'.

Paddy wrote a series of angry-fuelled Tweets to explain the situation and detail how a stranger questioned his reasoning for parking in the disabled area, despite him having the relevant disability badges.

The individual then claimed Paddy's children 'didn't look disabled'.

The unimpressed father-of-three wrote: "Just had a deep breath and walk away moment.

"Dropped my little ones off at a play centre. Parked in a disability space while they got out. Had all our relevant disability badges on display only for some bell*** to come over and tell us that we don’t look disabled? "

Paddy's rant continued as he described his instinct to "bounce him off every car" but he decided to "take a deep breath" and explain that not all disabilities are the same.

The presenter swiped at the stranger, labelling him an "ignorant tool" and confessing that it made his "blood boil."

The star also went on to explain that the individual was also parked in a disability bay but it 'never crossed his mind' to question him about his disability.

After angrily calling the fellow driver an "ignorant p****", Paddy admitted that if this altercation would have occurred a few years back, the guy would have been "on his a***".

As Paddy encouraged his followers to handle similar situations 'calmly', he revealed he felt 'better' for the way he responded and knew that he would have been labelled as a 'thug' if he acted differently.

The Take Me Out host ended his rant with the Hashtags 'ignorance, autism awareness and hypermobility'.

Paddy, 46, became the new face of Top Gear alongside Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris earlier this year.

The Top Gear star recently revealed that he has seen his love for his autistic son switch to a higher gear thanks to their shared passion forcars.

His wife, Christine, says the BBC motoring show has helped him get closer to six-year-old Leo than he’s ever been.

Top Gear has created a bond between my son and husband they never had before,” she revealed at last week’s Pride of Britain Awards.

“Leo is passionate about cars. He loves things with wheels, anything that spins.

“He doesn’t understand what a celebrity is or what a TV show is, but he knows that his Daddy works with cars. "
