Paddy McGuinness shows off new smile as he finally gets his gappy tooth fixed

Paddy McGuinness was thrilled to have a tooth replaced after eating too many Christmas toffees left him with a huge gap in his teeth.

The Take Me Out host had experienced a "nightmare" Christmas after his front tooth fell out - which left his wife Christine concerned.

On Monday Paddy, 46, took to Instagram to show off his brand new smile to followers as the missing tooth was replaced.

His gap was gone within 20 minutes as the quick procedure was handled by award-winning dentist Dr Hadi Rajabi.

Paddy posed with his dentist in the grinning snap to show off his amazing teeth, admitting they'd "never been so loved".

He wrote: "Before and after! Thanks to @knutsfordroaddentalclinic in and out 20 mins."

The star then joked: "Now I can get stuck back into all those Chrimmy treats!

"Thanks everyone who got in touch with offers of help, it was very much appreciated.

"My teeth have never been so loved!!!"

The new tooth comes as a sigh of relief for the family after their turbulent Christmas.

Christine declared her kids coped well but the aftermath was "awful".

Paddy and Christine have three kids - six-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, who have autism, and Felicity, three.

The model has confessed the family managed to have their "most successful, calmest" Christmas ever despite husband Paddy losing a tooth and their toilet getting blocked.

However, she admits the trouble started after the festivities ended.

In a post on Instagram , she explained: "Walking away from Christmas.. Last week I told how proud I was to have a Christmas tree up at home.

"I am still very proud that my children coped well over Christmas as they struggle so much with sensory overload, anxiety, they become easily overwhelmed.

"But, I wasn't ready for the aftermath following Christmas Day, it has has been awful.

"I think I prepared them so much for Christmas Day, I didn't prepare them for it to end.

"I know many of you with Autistic children will understand, I’m still learning everyday and next year will be better again."
