Paddy McGuinness lost for words after shocking question his 5-year-old asked about their family home

Paddy McGuinness has opened up about how he had "double nothing" growing up compared to his own children.

The Bolton TV star is dad to Felicity, five, and seven-year-old twins Leo and Penelope who he shares with wife Christine.

And Paddy, 42, has revealed a question his daughter asked which made him realise how different their upbringing is to what he had.

"When we were getting this house done, we used to drive up and let them look from outside," he began to explain to the Daily Star.

"The first thing my daughter says is, 'Where's the swimming pool?' I was like, 'Is that a normal question to ask someone?

"This is so far removed from my childhood, and she said it's just normal, totally normal, 'Where's the housekeeper living, Daddy?'"

Paddy added: "It's mad, but that's just how it is, I think it's difficult when you're brought up with like double nothing.

"You do have that thing in your head where they can have what they want but you don't want them to be spoilt or just expecting things."

His latest comments come after the Top Gear host was 'praying' his vasectomy worked after he feared his wife Christine was pregnant again.

Paddy underwent the "snip" almost two years ago to prevent another pregnancy but he was left worried it hadn't worked last week when Christine's pregnancy cravings returned.
