Paddy McGuinness puts on three stone and is loving his hunky new look

Paddy McGuinness has put on three stone and couldn't be happier with his recent weight gain.

The 46-year-old proudly took to social media to show off a before and after image of his dramatic transformation within the space of just one year.

In two snaps, the dad-of-three pulls a similar smoldering look toward the camera, and went on to tell his 1.4 million Instagram followers that he felt a lot ‘stronger’.

“Look at the difference! I definitely feel better with a bit of weight on me,” he began in the caption.

“There’s 12 months between these pics. I stripped right back to 12 stone, felt fit but looked ill. I’m now 15 stone and feeling stronger, having said that none of my suits fit me anymore!!! #thursday #weightloss #weightgain #beforeandafter #thin #curvy”

Naturally, the TV presenter received a tonne of support for his changing appearance and many complimented the Bolton-born hunk on bravely opening up about the transformation.

“Like a fine wine… Very tasty,” wrote one fan.

“Too many men (and women) feel like they have to be something they’re not, especially if they’re in the public eye. It’s about feeling comfortable within yourself,” applauded another.

Even wife Christine had her say on her husband’s newest social media pic, simply writing “Better now,” alongside a smiley face and heart emoji.

The pair have three children together - six-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and Felicity, three.

Paddy used to be the much-loved host of Take Me Out before the show was savagely axed at the start of this year.

On the ITV show, eligible men would come down the "love lift" to secure a date with one of the number of female contestants who showed their interest by keeping their light on.

Love stories from the show proved to be a success with eight weddings and six babies.

After learning that the show would be axed, he admitted he had been grateful for receiving the opportunity to host a dating show that aired before the dawn of dating apps such as Tinder.

Although he no longer presents the show, Paddy still remains a regular on British TV and will even be appearing on TopGear this weekend where he ‘takes full ownership of his midlife crisis.’
