Paddy McGuinness mocked over his 'dad tan' as he ends up with 'lobster' sunburn

Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness had some sound advice for fans after coming a cropper while enjoying the weekend sun.

The Bolton funnyman ended up with sunburn after catching some rays.

He joked that he would be left with a red neck until the end of the year as he shared a photo on Instagram of his tanning fail.

"Always wear sunscreen kids," he warned.

"I will now have this neckline till December. #cockofthedads #spf50 #lobster #burnt #redneck #redface #saturday #weekend."

He received no sympathy from his wife Christine as she mocked his post.

"What a t*t. You actually look like a b***end #DadTan," she commented with a laughing emoji.

And comments came flooding in from his followers.

"Ooouchies," winced one.

"Natural yoghurt or a cloth soaked in cold tea to take the sting out," advised another.

"Just say a cricket ball hit you in the neck," another suggested.

"Ketchup or Greek yogurt on that Paddy," said another.

Another fan reassured that he wasn't alone as the nation basked in the June sunshine.

"Belting tan Paddy," joked another.

The following day the 47-year-old shared his excitement ahead of England beating Croatia in their first Euro 2020 match.

"Trying to look cool AF while the shadow of my kids trampoline washes over me.

"C’mon @england can’t wait for this game!!!" the father-of-three wrote next to a snap of himself in the garden wearing an England shirt.
