Paddy McGuinness has This Morning viewers in hysterics after coming in 'worse for wear'

Paddy McGuinness caused quite the scene on This Morning after turning up to greet Phil and Holly on zero hours sleep.

As a result, the Take Me Out TV host felt slightly worse for wear, as viewers could see when he sat down to chat to Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.

Paddy had spent the previous night at the premiere of series 28 of Top Gear, Mirror Online reports.

He first appeared unannounced on the breakfast show during Alice Beer's crisp segment, then came the hilarious interview where he embarrassed Top Gear co-star Chris Harris before being told to go home by Holly Willoughby and get a wash.

After being mocked for only having one nipple, red-faced Chris said: "This is worse than I ever thought it could be. Absolute shower..."

On what he brings to Top Gear, Paddy said: "Alcohol...and lots of it."

Phillip Schofield sarcastically said: "I find it shocking someone could come on this sofa and still be drunk."

While Holly Willoughby, who hinted at the NTA awards, asked: "Who would do that? This time next week it will be us."

She added: "You two go home and get washed. I’ve never finished an interview saying that."

This Morning viewers found the whole exchange hilarious. One said on Twitter: "Paddy mcguinness is still drunk I’m crying laughing."

Another wrote: "Is our Paddy still p***ed this morning after last night’s premiere"

"Oh dear this interview is gonna go viral ... paddy still p***ed up," added a third.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10am
