Paddy McGuinness forgets wedding anniversary as Christine plans special surprise

Paddy McGuinness forgot that today was his wedding anniversary as wife Christine planned a special surprise for them.

The comedian and his wife who is the former Miss Liverpool, have been married for nine years today and got together 13 years ago.

To mark the occasion, Christine took to Twitter to share of a video of their celebrations alongside a post which mocked husband Paddy for forgetting about their special day.

And it wasn't the first time he has forgotten according to Christine, who posted an eye roll emoji, before saying he was forgiven.

In the video a beautiful display of red balloons can be seen, including love hearts and a giant number 9.

A three tier cake can also be seen in the video, with a framed photo of the couple sat at the top and a table full of cupcakes.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Christine wrote: "Happy anniversary, 13 years together, 9 years married!!!

"Even though you totally forgot..again!

"You are forgiven because I couldn’t do life without laughter and you give me so much!

"Happy anniversary my love @PaddyMcGuinness."

Messages flooded in from fans this afternoon in response to the post, wishing the couple a happy day.

One wrote: "Happy anniversary guys so sweet of you Christine. #CoupleGoals"

While another said: "Happy 9th wedding anniversary to you both. Lovely photo, lovely couple. Denise and Mick. xx"

Paddy and Christine have three children together, Penelope and Leo, six, and Felicity aged four.
