Paddy McGuinness CONFIRMED as Fearne Cotton's Celebrity Juice replacement

No likey, then no choice because Paddy McGuinness is officially joining Celebrity Juice.

The comedian will take over from Fearne Cotton as a rival team captain to Holly Willoughby when the Keith Lemon-fronted show returns to ITV2 next month.

McGuinness, who will also be joined by Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon as a series regular, said he is looking forward to the “chaos”.

“I was a guest on the first ever episode and I’ve done every series since so I’ve always felt like part of the Juice family,” he said.

“Keith’s one of my best mates, I love Holly and we all have a natural rapport. I’m looking forward to the chaos!”

The former Phoenix Nights star also fronts dating show Take Me Out on ITV and stars alongside Lemon on The Keith & Paddy Picture Show, which sees the pair recreate scenes from hit films.

Solomon said: “I’m so bloomin’ excited to be joining the Juice family. I have loved the show since it began and always enjoyed being a guest so to get to be part of the furniture is a dream come true. So here goes nothing. Wahoo.”

Famous panellists on the upcoming series will also include Amanda Holden, Will Mellor, Johnny Vegas and Emily Atack, who fans called to replace Cotton following her success on I’m A Celebrity.

Cotton announced she was stepping down from the show in December after a decade-long tenure.

Holly Willoughby sings on Celebrity Juice

“After ten years of complete fun, I have decided to leave Celebrity Juice,” she said in a statement. “It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show and I wish the team the very best in future series.”

Willoughby, who kicked off the show alongside Cotton in 2008, paid tribute to her co-star as she referenced a naughty skit which saw them sucking on a banana as they completed an obstacle course.

“I’m going to miss you being on the other side of my banana...,” she posted on Instagram. “Thank you for 10 years of laughter... love you @fearnecotton ... we are going to MISS you on @celebjuiceofficial SOOO much.”

Celebrity Juice will return to ITV2 in March
