Paddy McGuinness' wife Christine was left feeling "physically sick" when she saw images circulating online of her husband holding hands with another woman back in 2018.
The model and reality star, 33, spoke out about the paparazzi snaps and how they made her feel at the time in her new book A Beautiful Nightmare.
Sharing an exclusive extract with The Mirror, she wrote: "My husband, arm-in-arm with another woman. I felt physically sick. I ran to the toilet to vomit. Still to this day I can remember that absolutely awful pit-of-your-stomach feeling."
Christine says she forgave her husband of 10 years at the time for the sake of their kids - Felicity, Leo and Penelope.
The photos Christine had been tagged in online saw Take Me Out presenter Paddy walking hand-in-hand through Soho late at night, with All Saints star Nicole Appleton.
Her husband had been working in London when the snaps emerged, and he seemed to be enjoying Nicole's company.
They didn't appear to spot the cameras and were cosied up as they strolled through the streets.
Paddy wore a long black coat with white trainers, while Nicole wore a patterned jacket and boots.
Describing how the photos made her feel, Christine continued: "It was a bit of a heartbroken moment. I was absolutely devastated by these pictures."
She added: "I’d never been the jealous type. I had seen a few exchanges between Patrick and the other woman on social media, but thought nothing of it, Patrick has a lot of female friends in the industry. After my posts, my phone started blowing up. I had loads of messages from people saying, “I hope you sort it out.” “Leave him,” others told me.
"Suddenly everyone had an opinion on my marriage, and I didn’t know what was going on myself."
Christine later added: "I have to say we really didn't speak much about it. There were no rows or arguments, but I just didn’t want to look at him."
"We just got on with married life. I’m glad we did, because his bond with the children is so much better than it ever was then. Instead of staying over in London when he’s filming, he’ll drive through the night back," she concluded.
