Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness clearly couldn't resist reaching for the bleach while in lockdown.
Many of us are experimenting with our look with the extra time we have at home during the coronavirus crisis, and Paddy decided to switch his hair colour.
The 46-year-old Bolton comic emerged with a drastic Eminem-style blonde hairstyle after consulting with experts in the field of hairdressing and watching YouTube tutorials.
Sharing a video story of his hair bleaching journey on Instagram he explained: "Here’s my hair bleaching experience!
"I attempted it after speaking to numerous professional colourists in the auld hair game.
"I also watched far too many YouTube tutorials."
While making the video Paddy joked: "The main thing is I've still got my dignity."
While he was waiting for the colour to develop Paddy, who is married to The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine, enjoyed a brew and a donut.
"The things you do in isolation," he quipped.
During the makeover he said "Slim Shady", referring to rapper Eminem's alter ego.
Before adding a toner, Paddy said his hair was look 'orangey.'
But afterwards he was clearly pleased with the result.
"Definitely takes the brassiness out, look at that," the father-of-three said.
Followers rushed to comment on his new look.
"Blond's have more fun," said one.
"Is it true?? Looks good by the way. Great way to kill few hours."
"Awesome," said another.
"I think it suits you," said another.
