It has proved very popular over the past few years and Paddy Fest is gearing up to return to Newcastle with a new improved 'supersized' version.
Since making its debut in Times Square in 2018, the event has quickly established itself as THE place to celebrate St Patrick's Day in the city and after being visited by over 4,000 people last year, Paddy Fest has announced its return.
The day-long Paddy party will once again take over Times Square, with a massive Oktoberfest-style beer tent and the promise of more drinks, more dancing, more music and louder DJs than before.
And for rugby fans short on plans for Saturday, March 14, Paddy Fest will have a big screen showing live coverage of the final day of the Six Nations.
Last year, the festival also played host to the biggest Bongo's Bingo Newcastle has seen to date, with mass singalongs of everything from Lonestar's Amazed to The Greatest Showman.
Teasing what to expect from Paddy Fest 2020, the Facebook event page lists:
