Paddy Barnes reacts to Jay Harris defeat with hilarious meme

It's a tweet that encapsulates why fans love Paddy Barnes so much.

'The Leprechaun' is bound to be hurting today - physically and emotionally.

Physically from Jay Harris' brutal .

And emotionally because the defeat leaves Paddy at a crossroads in his boxing career.

The 32-year-old admitted afterwards that he was considering whether to fight on or hang up the gloves.

"There is no point in going on if you are losing at European level and if your body is failing you," Barnes said.

"If I can't take the body shots in the professional game then what's the point? I'm 32, I'm quite old in the pro game."

Paddy is an Irish boxing hero whose amateur record stands alone.

He won bronze medals at both the Beijing (2008) and London (2012) Olympic Games, not to mention two Commonwealth Games gold medals and a European title.

The professional ranks have offered a whole new test, however, and on Friday night Paddy's resistance to those punishing body shots was exposed once again as Harris floored him twice en route to claiming the win in Belfast.

But how did Paddy react on Saturday?

Well, in typical comical fashion, using a meme of Little Britain's 'Computer says 'no'' sketch to sum up professional boxing.

Paddy's wife Mari responded to the tweet by saying: "This is why I love this man."

Hopefully Paddy takes some time before deciding on his future.

Whatever he decides he will be remembered as one of Ireland's boxing greats.

And funniest.
