Now, I will tell you about my favourite chapter. It is called 'Paddington at the wheel.' When I finished the first chapter, it amazed me so much because it was really funny and I didn't want to read the next chapter, I wanted to read the same one over and over again!
So, it was a normal day at 32 Windsor gardens. Paddington was complaining about a prize he should have got but he got a bookmark instead. This prize (which was a Rolls Royce) was meant to be for Mr Brown. Soon, Paddington found out that Mr Brown was ordered (by the magistrate) that he had to retake his driving test. Funnily enough, the competition results were announced on the same day as Mr Brown's test! To put a smile on his face, Paddington decided to take the test. He walked on to the test centre to start the driving test. He was feeling very confident so he only wanted one test. Paddington jumped into the car and waited for someone to come to his assistance. Finally, a man holding a clipboard came walking up to the car with Paddington sat inside. The man's name was Mr Bogey. Mr Bogey instructed Paddington to start the car and get going. The bear did what he was told. At first, he was going slowly. Then, he started going very fast and he crashed into a car. But, this wasn't any old car; this was Mr Bogey's car!
I think the author explained the story very well because he used a funny name (MR BOGEY) and made the story come alive as if it was actually happening.
Out of ten, I would give this book 8.5/10.
