Packers WR Davante Adams ranks No. 35 on NFL ‘Top 100’ list

Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams improved 10 spots to No. 35 overall on NFL Network’s “Top 100” players list entering the 2019 season.

Adams joins Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari on the annual list. Bakhtiari ranked No. 43.

Adams, a two-time Pro Bowler, caught a career-high 111 passes for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns during the 2018 season, helping him improve from a No. 45 ranking to start last season.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently called Adams one of the NFL’s top three receivers, “at minimum.”

Over the last three seasons, Adams ranks eighth among NFL receivers in catches (260), ninth in receiving yards (3,268) and second in touchdowns (35), trailing only Antonio Brown (36) in scores.

From a technical standpoint, Adams is highly respected around the league for his ability at the line of scrimmage and connection with Rodgers in the red zone.

As the undisupted No. 1 receiver for Rodgers in Matt LaFleur’s new offense, Adams could rise even further up NFL Network’s list by this time next year.
