Packers win behind strong defense, and really bad play from Mitch Trubisky

We were all excited about how Aaron Rodgers would adjust to a new offense in Green Bay. What new and innovative offense would Matt LaFleuer bring to the Packers

And then for the Bears, after a 12-4 season, how would this team evolve? Would would year No. 2 of Mitch Trubisky look like with Matt Nagy?

The answers to those questions will have to be put on hold.

The Packers beat the Bears 10-3 behind solid defense, and horrible play from Trubisky.

Of course, this is the Thursday night game in Week 1 of the regular season. These games are always weird, so it’s probably safe not to overreact, but my goodness. If you’re a Bears fan, you probably took PTO today.

Green Bay takes an early lead in the division, and Vikings fans are all the sudden looking ahead to next week’s road battle between the two teams in Green Bay.

As for the rest of the NFC North, the Vikings host the Falcons on Sunday at noon, while the Lions are in Arizona to face the Cardinals at 3:25 p.m. CT.
