Packers vs. Vikings: Time, TV schedule, streaming, how to watch

The Green Bay Packers (1-0) return home in Week 2 to host the division-rival Minnesota Vikings (1-0) in their home opener at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

The Packers offense stumbled out of the gate last week against a talented Chicago Bears defense, and it won’t get any easier facing Mike Zimmer’s unit. Playing at home should help and the Packers have scored at least 23 points in 11 of the last 13 home games against the Vikings.

On the other side of the ball, Green Bay’s defense will face an arguably tougher test in quarterback Kirk Cousins and Pro Bowl receiver duo Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. The two combined for over 200 receiving yards in each matchup last year and Kirk Cousins amassed 767 passing yards against Mike Pettine’s group in 2018. If this defense is for real, they can’t allow numbers like that in 2019 against a division foe.

After 117 games facing each other, which includes two postseason contests (1-1), the Packers hold a 60-54-3 edge over the Vikings in the all-time series. Green Bay has a 7-3-2 mark (including playoffs) against the Vikings at Lambeau Field since 2008.

FOX will broadcast the game. Chris Myers (play-by-play) will be joined by Daryl Johnston (analyst) in the booth with Laura Okmin reporting from the sidelines.

The game can be heard over Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM) and the Packers Radio Network, which is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and Larry McCarren (analyst) will call the game. The game will also be aired over ESPN Radio and the WTMJ feed of Sirius Satellite Radio.
