The Green Bay Packers (5-1) remain at home in Week 7 to host Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders (3-2). This matchup will begin a stretch of three straight games against AFC West teams.
It would be an understatement to say Green Bay has dominated this series. Going back to 1990, the Packers have a 7-0 record against the Raiders and have won four of those games by 28 or more points. The 41-7 win at Oakland in 2003 is arguably the most memorable. Following the passing of his father, a grieving Brett Favre took the field and threw for 399 yards and four touchdowns in front of a sympathetic Oakland crowd.
After this week, the Packers will travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs in primetime.
CBS will broadcast this game. Jim Nantz (play-by-play) will be joined by Tony Romo (analyst) in the booth with Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sidelines.
The game can be heard over Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM) and the Packers Radio Network, which is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and Larry McCarren (analyst) will call the action with John Kuhn providing coverage from the sidelines. The game will also be aired over the WTMJ feed of Sirius Satellite Radio.
