The Green Bay Packers (7-3) return home after a disappointing overtime loss in Indianapolis to take on their division rival, the Chicago Bears (5-5), in primetime on “Sunday Night Football.”
This will be game No. 201 between these two teams in the NFL’s oldest rivalry. The Packers are 99-95-6 in the series, including playoffs (1-1). Green Bay has won the last 10 of 12 meetings at home and that may continue as Chicago will have Mitch Trubisky under center on Sunday night. A top pick in 2017, Trubisky has a lackluster 1-4 record against the Packers.
Following this game, the Packers will stay at home and host the Philadelphia Eagles (3-6-1) in Week 13. Despite their record, the Eagles have the ability to enter Lambeau Field as division leaders with a win this Sunday.
NBC will broadcast the game before a nationally televised audience. Due to rescheduling, this week’s crew will be different than NBC’s usual Collinsworth, Michaels, and Tafoya. Mike Tirico (play-by-play) will be joined by Tony Dungy (analyst) in the booth with Kathryn Tappen reporting from the sidelines.
The game can be heard over Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM) and the Packers Radio Network, which is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and Larry McCarren (analyst) will call the action over the air with former Packer John Kuhn reporting from the sidelines. The matchup will also be broadcasted on Westwood One Sports and the WTMJ feed of Sirius Satellite Radio.
