Packers upgrade WR Geronimo Allison to questionable for Sunday vs. Raiders

The Green Bay Packers upgraded receiver Geronimo Allison from doubtful to questionable for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.

Allison remains in the concussion protocol, but his progress suggests he’ll have a chance to clear the protocol in time to play Sunday.

Allison, the team’s starting slot receiver, was injured on a helmet-to-helmet hit to start the second half against the Detroit Lions. He was diagnosed with a concussion and missed the entire week of practice as he worked through the league’s mandated protocol.

Allison has 13 catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns in six games this season.

The Packers already ruled out top receiver Davante Adams, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling is listed as questionable with ankle and knee injuries. It’s now possible both Allison and Valdes-Scantling could play Sunday.
