The Green Bay Packers will wear their blue-and-gold throwback uniforms in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, the team’s official site announced Thursday.
The uniform set includes gold shoulders and numbers on a navy blue jersey, plus an all-gold helmet (no decal or striping), tan pants and navy blue socks. The look is based on uniforms worn by the Packers between 1937-1948.
The Sept. 22 visit from the Broncos will mark the fifth straight year the Packers have worn this particular throwback uniform.
Last season, the Packers beat the Buffalo Bills 22-0 while wearing the look. They previously beat the Chargers in 2015, lost to the Dallas Cowboys in 2016 and lost to the Baltimore Ravens in 2017.
