Packers sign OL Adam Pankey off Titans practice squad

The Green Bay Packers replaced guard Lane Taylor on the 53-man roster by bringing back offensive lineman Adam Pankey, who was signed off the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans.

Taylor was placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury on Saturday.

Pankey, an undrafted free agent from West Virginia, spent his first two seasons with the Packers. He was on the team’s active roster in both 2017 and 2018, playing one regular season game each year.

Pankey was back in Green Bay during training camp and played in all four preseason games, but he didn’t make the team’s 53-man roster and eventually signed with the Titans practice squad. He has experience playing guard and tackle.

Pankey joins Lucas Patrick, Alex Light and Cole Madison as the team’s four backup offensive linemen.
