Packers sign former Raiders WR Keon Hatcher to practice squad

The Green Bay Packers signed former Oakland Raiders receiver Keon Hatcher to the team’s practice squad on Thursday. He will replace tight end Evan Baylis, who was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.

Hatcher, 25, originally signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He spent roughly a month on the Packers’ practice squad last season before the Raiders signed him back to the active roster.

Hatcher caught 11 passses for 142 yards during the 2019 preseason but was waived on Aug. 31. He played in three regular season games for the Raiders in 2018, catching one pass for eight yards.

The Packers traded away Trevor Davis, leaving six receivers on the active roster. Hatcher joins Malik Taylor as the two receivers on the practice squad.
