Packers schedule annual Family Night scrimmage for Friday, Aug. 2

The official introduction of the 2019 Green Bay Packers is on the calendar.

The Packers have scheduled the 19th annual Family Night scrimmage for the evening of Friday, Aug. 2 at Lambeau Field.

The team announced tickets, priced at $10 each, will go on sale on Tuesday, July 2 at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com or at the Packers’ ticket office in person. Fans will be limited to 10 tickets per purchase and a group ticket program will be offered.

This year’s event will once again be in the format of a full practice and feature a game-like atmosphere. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the 2019 Packers will be introduced on the field at 7:30 p.m. A fireworks show is once again planned for after the practice.

Last August, the reported attendance for the scrimmage was 64,702. The event has drawn at least 60,000 fans each year since at least 2014 and has sold out 12 times in 18 years.

For fans not in attendance, the game will be aired on the Packers Radio Network and the Packers TV Network.
