Packers rule out Tyler Ervin, list Kevin King, Za’Darius Smith as questionable

The Green Bay Packers ruled out running back Tyler Ervin and listed four players – including two defensive starters – as questionable on the final injury report for Sunday’s showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ervin (wrist) didn’t practice all week. Cornerback Kevin King (quad) and outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith (ankle) are both questionable, as are outside linebacker Rashan Gary (ankle) and defensive lineman Montravius Adams (ankle).

King missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but returned in a limited fashion on Friday, giving him a chance to play Sunday. Ervin, the Packers’ go-to jet motion option, was the only player who didn’t practice on Friday.

Smith and Gary were both questionable in Week 4. Smith played and had three sacks, but Gary missed the contest.

Neither receiver Davante Adams nor defensive lineman Kenny Clark has an injury designation. Both Pro Bowlers will return to action Sunday – Adams after missing two games and Clark after missing three games.

The Packers should also get back tight end Marcedes Lewis, who doesn’t have an injury designation after missing Week 4 against the Falcons.

The Buccaneers listed three players as questionable: cornerback Carlton Davis, defensive lineman Khalil Davis and running back Leonard Fournette. Receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin don’t have an injury designation and will play.
