Packers rule out Lane Taylor, Montravius Adams doubtful for Week 3 vs. Broncos

The Green Bay Packers will likely be without starters along the offensive and defensive lines on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

The team ruled out starting left guard Lane Taylor and listed defensive lineman Montravius Adams as doubtful on Friday’s final injury report.

Rookie Elgton Jenkins will start at left guard in place of Taylor, while rookie defensive lineman Kingsley Keke will likely be active for the first time all season with Adams out.

Linebacker Oren Burks will miss his third straight game to start the 2019 season with a partially torn pectoral muscle.

The Packers also listed tight end Jimmy Graham, receivers Jake Kumerow and Darrius Shepherd and outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell as questionable.

Coach Matt LaFleur expressed optimism on Friday that Graham, who missed Thursday’s practice, would be ready to go Sunday.

Receiver Davante Adams didn’t practice Friday because of a personal matter but will be available to play Sunday.

The Broncos will be without tackle Ja’Wuan James, fullback Andy Janovich and linebacker Joseph Jones on Sunday. Cornerback Bryce Callahan and linebacker Todd Davis are both questionable.
