Packers rookie ratings revealed in ‘Madden NFL 20’

The player raters for “Madden NFL 20” didn’t necessarily love the draft class of the Green Bay Packers.

Although the Packers have three rookies with a rating of at least 70, neither Rashan Gary nor Darnell Savage was rated as one of the game’s best first-year players.

Gary, at 73 overall, is the 22nd best rookie. Savage, rated 72 overall, is the 34th best rookie.

Jace Sternberger, the Packers’ third-round pick, was also rated a 72.

Here’s a full look at the Packers’ rookie ratings:

Rashan Gary: 73 overall
Darnell Savage: 72 overall
Jace Sternberger: 72 overall
Elgton Jenkins: 69 overall
Ka’dar Hollman: 66 overall
Dexter Williams: 66 overall
Kingsley Keke: 65 overall
Ty Summers: 63 overall
Yosh Nijman: 56 overall

Although Gary, the 12th overall pick, is considered only the sixth best edge rusher in the rookie class, Savage is the top rated and fastest safety, and Sternberger is the fourth best tight end.

The 10 best rookies are Quinnen Williams (80 overall), Ed Oliver (79), Nick Bosa (78), Josh Allen (77), Marquise Brown (77), T.J. Hockenson (77), Dexter Lawrence (76), D.K. Metcalf (76), Brian Burns (75) and Irv Smith (75).
